Low blood sugar issues in Kambo
« on: April 24, 2017, 07:05:07 PM »
I have had my blood sugar drop in aya but I'm not diabetic. Should I have concerns that this will happen during Kambo? If it does happen, how can I manage it?Usually what happens during aya is that my vision starts to blur or my hands or legs cramp up. It can come on from purging, or if just under a lot of stress. I heal it by drinking coconut water, or drinking warm water with salt and sugar in it, and on a few occasions I've taken pedialyte. I'm small (about 100 pounds).

No that shouldn't be a concern, Kambo raises blood pressure for sure; Gets heart pumping hard and fast, raises blood pressure in the head, causes skin to get hot and flushed.
Some people have been known to pass out, which I guess could be due to a sudden drop in blood pressure depending on how the kambo is working on the body? but no one has been hurt from it, and a sitter could put some tincture of cayenne in the mouth to keep you conscious, though it won't be too enjoyable lol.
