Hello, Hola, Oi!
« on: April 18, 2013, 03:34:41 PM »
Hi everyone, good to be on here. Looking forward to interesting discussions, learning and sharing. I am a practitioner, living in Brazil, visiting Europe and US. Australia later this year too. Running ceremonies and doing individual sessions. Not working with Iboga but I am working with Aya alongside Kambo.

Thank you for the welcome! Gratidão irmão

I am in Alter Do Chão in the north east Amazon. A little village right in the middle of the forest alongside a green water lagoon - very special place. We don't have a Daime church here but we do beautiful work all the same. When I travel to other parts of Brazil I always go to the Daime - esp Daime/Umbanda/Shamanic groups like Leo Artese or Ge Marques.

Are you in Brazil too?

No, I'm italian. I was there 4 years ago, in Trancoso and then at Flor do Ceu, near BH,  the church  of the padrinho who gave me the  farda.

WOW, what a beautiful place is your town !

Estou procurando por ambil (no Brasil, eu acho que é mais conhecido como jita): você pode encontrar algum?

Is the  kambo' you use  collected in your area or have you to purchase it elsewhere ?

Do you know if there is really some difference between the kambò collected from male or female specimen of the frog ?

And do you cook your own ayahuasca ?

Allora ciao!

I was never at Flor in BH, in fact I have never been to BH! But I am fardada too. And yes, we make our own medicine here. There are many people living in the forest here growing the vine and leaf who cook regularly.

Alter is incredibly beautiful - if you come to Brazil you should visit!

Não temos Ambil no Brasil. Não sei, mas acho que você só vai encontrá-lo no Peru, Venezuela e talvez Columbia. Vou pedir a alguns amigos.

I get Kambo from different places, sometimes a friend travels to the north-west, sometimes another friend brings it from Peru and sometimes I buy it online. It is quite hard to get in Brazil and there are legal restrictions on using it outside the tribes now. We have many frogs here but not this one.  I never heard of any difference between male and female secretions.

Feel free to hit me up for the best Kambo I know of direct from the Matis' a branch of the Matses Jaguar people. Also I think from reading a chapter on Tobacco licking in South American use of Tobacco and Shamanism there is quite a few recipes for making Ambil from different tribes.  They make it quite clear in a span of 10 pages how to make Ambil.  This book is a must for us lovers of the medicines...

http://www.amazon.com/Tobacco-Shamanism-America-Psychoactive-Plants/dp/0300057903

Seriously this book is AMAZING!!! The bibliography alone is worth the price because soooo many links to other amazing books.  For our friend in Italy who knows many languages this is ground breaking.  For me only so much as I only know English.

For anyone that already knows or is very willing to learn to properly apply Kambo and heal themselves and others.  Only the truly serious folks in this realm of healing.  Seems like anyone here is of that nature.

Hi all,

The PM has been sent to both of you...

Thanks again Galega, I am very much looking forward to meeting you as well.
Are you doing Ayahuasca ceremonies as well or only Kambo?
And if I had a friend or two interested in coming is that possible?

Great, got it. I'll put you on the list and you'll get an invite with all info very soon. Feel free to pass it on to your friends. Spaces are limted so its first come, first served etc

Hoping to do one aya in each location - still sourcing the right venue in NY. Its going to be strictly invitation only because of the legal issues but until the venue is confirmed I don't know what kind of numbers we will have.  Should know soon.
