You need lots of anti-virals for herpes.

ANTI-HERPES PROPERTIES.  Dr. Gary Null, mentioned above, places camu as #1 in effectiveness out of a list of 18 herbs for its anti-herpetic properties.  Herpes can take many forms, from the common cold sores to genital herpes and shingles, and in total affects about 80% of the US population.  Among practitioners who recommend it, camu is reputed to be faster and more effective against herpes than any other natural substance.  Some people who are very prone to outbreaks take a small amount daily as a preventative.  Others take an extra dose if they feel the tingling pain which precedes the formation of herpes blisters.  Loading up on camu can often ward off colds and flus as well.

A polysaccharide fraction from medicinal herb Prunella vulgaris downregulates the expression of herpes simplex virus antigen in Vero cells.
J Ethnopharmacol. 2004.
Herpes simplex viruses are pathogenic. With the emergence of drug-resistant strains of Herpes simplex virus, new antiviral agents, especially those with different modes of action, are urgently needed. Prunella vulgaris, a perennial plant commonly found in China and Europe, has long been used as a folk medicine to cure ailments. In this study, a polysaccharide fraction was prepared from Prunella vulgaris, and its effects on the expressions of Herpes simplex virus-1 and Herpes simplex virus-2 antigens in their host Vero cells were investigated with flow cytometry. The Herpes simplex virus antigen increased time-dependently in the infected cells, and Prunella vulgaris reduced its expression. The effective concentrations of Prunella vulgaris with 50% reductions of the Herpes simplex virus-1 and Herpes simplex virus-2 antigens were 20 and 20 microg/ml, respectively. The novelty of Prunella vulgaris is that it also reduces the antigen expression of acyclovir-resistant strain of Herpes simplex virus-1. After incubations with 25-100 microg/ml of Prunella vulgaris the Herpes simplex virus antigen-positive cells were reduced by 24-92%, respectively, showing that this polysaccharide fraction has a different mode of anti-Herpes simplex virus action from acyclovir. Results from this study show that Prunella vulgaris is effective against both the Herpes simplex virus-1 and Herpes simplex virus-2 infections, and flow cytometry offers a quantitative and highly reproducible anti-Herpes simplex virus drug-susceptibility assay.

Olive leaf extract
Quote
The active ingredients found in olive leaves are oleuropein (phytochemical), calcium elenolate and elenol acid, which are considered as natural antimicrobial agents. They make the virus inactive by acting on the outer protein coating. With regular usage of olive leaf extract, herpes simplex virus are destroyed or rendered nonfunctional. Besides these main components, olive leaf contains esters, hydroxytyrosol, polyphenols, flavonoids and several other antioxidant molecules, which collectively help in treating the symptoms of herpes

Did you know that as many as 90% of us have been exposed to this viral infection? And most people who have it show no symptoms! In 1969 the research of Dr. Renis working with the Upjohn company, proved that a compound of oleuropein from the olive leaf could kill all viruses, including the herpes virus(simplex, zoster, both oral and genital), against which it was tested. The virucidal activity of oleuropein was due to its interaction with the protein coat of the virus and not with its genetic material.

Olive leaf contains Oleurpein. When Oleuropein is taken orally it has been found to enhance immune function and in lab tests to be highly virucidal (kills viruses) including Herpes simplex type I, Herpes simplex type II, Herpes zoster,

Dr. Renis proved that oleuropein from olive leaf extract could kill herpes virus. In 1992 French biologists found that all of the herpes viruses were inhibited or killed by olive leaf. They included 28 references to the anti-viral action of oleuropein in their report. Olive leaf extract has an ability to interfere with critical amino acid production essential for viruses. It can penetrate infected cells directly and stop viral replication.

Cat's Claw
Quote
According to a 2009 report in the American Journal of Health System Pharmacy, Cat's Claw is a woody vine that grows wild in many parts of Central and South America. The inner bark of cat's claw has been used to make liquid extracts, capsules, teas and topical preparations that have been used for over 2,000 years in the treatment of conditions such as Alzheimer's disease, cancer, arthritis and viral infections such as herpes and HIV. Though clinical trial data are lacking, in vitro (cell culture) studies suggest that Cat's Claw has antiviral, anti-inflammatory, anti-oxidant and immune-stimulating properties that could help diminish viral replication and promote healing of lesions in herpes. According to NCCAM, when taken at recommended doses, cat's claw is associated with a low rate of side effects such as headache, dizziness and vomiting.

Ms. ------ , a 43 year old business person contracted CFS after a ‘flu like illness in 1996. She consulted me initially in 1999, at the time fulfilling the CDC and Oxford criteria for CFS. She was functioning on a Karnofsky scale of 70% at the time, being unable to fulfill a full day’s work.
Complicating the syndrome was an almost monthly recurrence of Type II herpes infection for which she was taking Zelitrex (Valaciclovir) constantly. We embarked on a pyramidal treatment program including enterohepatic, mitochondrial , neuroendocrine and immune support. She did well on the program over eight months, but still had significant recurrence of the Herpes lesions. She was able to go back to work but could not exercise without relapsing.
We commenced treatment with Sutherlandia in September 2000 after I heard about it at the South African Complementary Medicine Association (SACMA) conference. She had one more outbreak of herpes in October 2000 and since then had no recurrences. Her clinical condition also improved even further, notably improvements in the fatigue and her exercise tolerance. An Exercise test performed in a physiology lab show her to be only mildly exercise intolerant on the 24.October 2000. We have kept her on Sutherlandia, and to date the patient remains well-functioning with a Karnofsky scale of 90%.

Mushroom extracts including the Gypsy mushroom, Oyster mushroom, Shiitake, Reishi and Chaga have been found to have significant activity against the herpes simplex I and II viruses, and they are well-known to bolster the immune system in a variety of ways. Much of the earlier research on mushroom extracts was done in Japan and China until recently. Now we are seeing more promising studies in microbiology laboratories and cancer centers throughout the west. Mushroom extracts help strengthen the immune defenses, support the probiotics and fight many potentially pathogenic microorganisms that may threaten our well-being.

The antiviral results proved Chaga to be a very potent antiviral agent (rendering the viruses “completely inhibited.”

Good list of anti-virals shown effective against herpes with links to proven studies.

includes Neem oil which is actually the most used form of birth control in India. Men take it regularly because it temporarily renders their sperm impotent due to it stimulating the immune system. It can be used as a spermicidal lubricant which is also an ant-bacterial & anti-viral; protects against STDs. ¿I believe a female can also take a large amount as a sort of morning after pill.

I would think it would definitely help. And possibly completely cure it after a couple treatments, but i have no proof.

That's awesome where would I go to get treated with Kambo. What I'm doing right now is a 40 day juice fast with herbal antiviral teas and then I'm going to do an iboga detox and then an ayahuasca ceremony down in peru and while I was down there I was going to try and find a tribe somewhere that uses Kambo any suggestions??

Thanks

DESPERATE!  Yes that's where you will need to place the motivation in the reigns of tackle the problem and nip it in the bud.  More than likely from what I can infer the best way is to find a Kambo healer or to self treat.  Native tribes unless the Katukina, don't seem to be bent on treating individuals in the specific way and intensive way that we can now using meridian knowledge and Giovanni Lattanzi's work.  So as weird as it sounds more than likely the West will be your best opportunity and Peru or the Matses (Jaguar people) might not.  They don't seem to use it like a doctor would like Gio, I and a view others do.

With serious conditions an intensive treatment plan is rather necessary.  Along with specifically applying to meridians.  I doubt the native tribes will follow that protocol.  At least I don't think they do.  The Katukina are the one tribe that really specialize in Kambo as their main sacrament but there in Brazil.

Kambo is not a psychedelic btw.

Excellent info on the post!  My gosh Pchild working overtime.

Ok so I had 4 grand, I was originally going to live with the matses for a month and have them heal me but after you told me to self heal I figured I'd find a way to buy the sticks so I went and bought 4 grand worth (500 sticks) This may have been way too much but once I learn how to heal myself I am going to heal other people (my friend just contracted hep c).... So can any of you point me towards someone (you mentioned in the west) who can show me how to use this stuff and heal myself?

thanks

I don't know anyone I could point you to. But I taught myself how to use Kambo by reading this forum. I read every post on this forum, watched a few vids and read a few articles on Kambo. My first Kambo experience was on myself. It is a simple process. But wow 500 sticks!? I hope you got a good quantity discount. lol That is a lot considering each stick has about 10 doses worth. 50 dots.

I will hopefully be treating a friend with Kambo today.

BTW KIAP, it won't allow me to upload pictures to this forum. Any idea why? I'd like to post some kambo pictures. I feel the forum is lacking in kambo pictures. Esp ones on meridians can help build and memorize a mental picture of the meridians in the body.

one thing you can do is make a hotmail account and make a sky drive account and upload the pictures there and post links to the pictures or albums here.
