Litmus Paper / pH Strips

You can buy litmus paper / pH strips are a cheap and useful tool.

They can be purchased cheap off eBay or Amazon in packs. You can use them to test your urine; Foods, beverages and body-care products as well. The pH of the body and blood when in perfect balance is 7. Water you drink should be alkaline 7-75. The higher the pH the more alkaline, the lower the pH, the more acidic. Extremes of either are not good. Generally, we want to maintain a balance of 7 or a little over.

Take note, the urine s the body's waste and will be more acidic than our blood. But we can test our fluctuations and analyze what is acidic and what may push our urine's pH lower, and etc.

Charts of pH Values of various foods can be found online.

We most be more cautious of non-vegetarian foods which are harder to process. Breads, crackers, carbs, deserts, candy, soda and other sugary drinks, etc.
