Fasting - Water - & Food: Qs answered.
« on: September 26, 2014, 01:33:39 PM »
I recently trained with a Master Kambo Practitioner, and from our training we learned the following:

1) It is necessary to fast at least 10 hours before taking kambo
- the reason is exactly what a few of you posted - fasting is a cleansing experience which aligns with/complements the cleansing principle of kambo - we don't want to purge food, we want to purge toxins. Fasting in this sense also means not taking medications soon before a kambo treatment as the medication will be purged out and therefore not do its job.

2) It is necessary to drink 2 liters of water immediately before taking kambo
- The water serves as the recipient of the toxins and the transportation vehicle to purge the toxins out. It is essential. While the purging is in process, and if a client is having difficulty purging, drinking more water can assist in inducing the purge and getting it out.

3) A normal portion of wholesome food is good to eat after resting from a kambo treatment
- This includes fruits, bread, butter and soup - preferably organic, local and homemade. The nutrients, minerals, vitamins, etc., replenish the body with energy and are an important tool for grounding the body and mind back into the present moment.

I hope this was helpful and makes for an optimal kambo experience.

Kambo blessings!

Do not look back behind if we did not reach their destination.
