Why on the new moon?
« on: August 29, 2012, 06:23:57 AM »
I've heard people recommend applying kambo on the new moon. Whats the reasoning behind this?

I don't know any referenced explanation.
My own idea is that on new moon the fluids in the body are deeper (as it happens for example to the limph in  the herbs' stems and roots - think also : full moon attraction rises the oceans), then  Kambò purging is more efficent to remove toxins stored into tissues.

I like that theory...and I also like how you admit to it being an idea rather than some rigorous standard that must be upheld.  There are no rigorous standards in this game, only best practices imo.

Makes sense, as it is said that the moon has an effect on fertility and menstruation along with effects of melatonin levels and even crime rates if you really wanna go deep with it.  With the size and location of the moon it would seem logical that it would have some sort of effect on everything living here on earth
