Journals / Ordeals / XXX one year after
« on: April 07, 2013, 01:04:26 PM »
Hi all Kambo Nation,

It has been a year since I started my Kambo miracle. I've done it at least once a week, up to 3 x week.

On the good side, this Sunday I was doubting if I should go for a motorcycle ride or do Kambo. I did Kambo, since my husband is not feeling good. But the point is that for the first time in a year I didn't feel the need to do it.  This is great!

A member Hip has asked me some questions by PM, but I will make them public so other can share the info:

1. How are your CFS symptoms at the moment, by the way? Still in remission?

I am not well, it is still long way to go.  But there are days when I forget i have CFS/ME, and as I mentioned, this Sunday, I was to skip my session. I used to do weight lifting, this will be a true test... physical stress is the true test if I am really getting to be a normal person.

2. Are you continuing to take kambo once a week? I am amazed at your courage in taking kambo. Do you find taking kambo weekly a bit of a chore, or don't you mind? Do you have to kind psych yourself up for doing a kambo session, or are you just calmly taking in your stride now?

Yes, when it hits you to vomit, and feel you are kind of dying, you go, oh not again, (it is so short, anyway)... But every time I am looking forward to do it, BECAUSE I FEEL BETTER, so I would and will do anything to feel better.

3. I am just too apprehensive about going through the full kambo experience at present, which is why I am hoping that taking just dermorphin might work. But as you say, it could be a combination of ingredients in kambo that act together.

Actually, it is not a big deal, I think that there is a lots of info on how to do it, start slow and build up.  I think Kambo is much more then dermorphin, but let us know.

best to all Kambo Race

We live in difficult times, a lots of information but at the same time a lots of ideology, or unchecked throughts:

vegetarianism:

- actually is deeply polemic, as far as I know it comes from buddhism and then it spread to hinduism, and now it is practiced ONLY in India...
- there are many societies that eat meat only and are totally healthy Masais, Esquimos...
- meat eating became sign of sickness
- Indian vegetarian diet is very greasy, and not very healthy.
- somehow this complicated relationship West as unhealthy, East as healthy, as a product we have statements like I just read on al Jazeera on unhealthy american diet and it states Coca Cola and hamburger? But why is hamburger actually unhealthy? On the contrary: french and fries and Coka Cola IS  unhealthy, but beef is actually not, yet on a vegeratian diet one may end up eating fries and Coka Cola...
- vegetarianism leads to cravings which end up being eased by eating starchy and sugary foods.

- eating fat and protein with no Sugars can be much healther then veg. diets...

this is just one piece of my 35 years diet experiements...

Physical Cleansing and Healing of Illnesses / CFS FM and ME
« on: February 07, 2013, 09:06:27 PM »
Hi all,

a member of the forum Hip, who also has CFS, has asked me few questions regarding Kambo and CFS/FM/ME. I am more then glad to answer the questions, since so far I haven't find any interest for the topic. I have put in the title FM and ME in hope that in search engines will pick it up, so some can benefit form this info.

Hip aks:
Incidentally, when you first started taking kambo, how long did it take before you started feeling better, and your CFS symptoms started going? From what I read  in your threads, it was a matter of a week or two. Is that right? Did you go from bedbound to heathy in a week or so?

Actually yes, I would say that it took two treatments, two weeks to get out of bed.  But over all this is how it looks:

DAY OF TREATMENT
I do the treatment in the morning, and generally, and especially the first day I am in terrible pain, I take some pain killers Metamizol Sodico, not avilable in the USA, but here is over the counter, it is many times stornger than Advil. This night sleep is OK, or same as before.

DAY 2
It is difficult too, the more points I do, the more difficult it is, so I don't plan anyting for the following day. This night sleep is WORST, even with same meds, and I take very strong meds,  It takes me two hours to get to sleep, and I tend to wake up. (which in never the case when not on Kambo)

DAY 3
The third day you start to feel much better. I can do 35% more activity then normally.

DAY 4
I feel really good. Sleep goes to normal, or standard I would say...

DAY 5
As good as 4

DAY 6
The symptoms seem to creep in again: more blurry vision, body odor increases, overall pain increases, the sinus problem is back, and the afternoon fatigue is stronger, I sweat for no reason, my feet and hands get cold, even when very warm outside, and my lymph nodes start acting up, and my Irritable bowel syndrome gets back again (IBS) stronger ....

and guess what?        I am ready for the new treatment.... DAY 7... lol ... and it has been the case ever since last April 2010.

Over all my partner says that I have less down days then usual.  He sees my face "drops", and I look tired and angry, he says I have much less days like that.  So it is not like addiction situation, since I do progress over all a lot.

I just want to say that sometimes I do even do it two times a week. Any viral condition in my case gets worst, like a common cold, intestinal infection, or a flu... then I would do more often...

Has your sleep got better from the kambo treatment?

Actually NO, it only does if I add Caapi to it, 3 days after. If I do it the following day... that night I can't sleep at all, and it doesn't feel right, It has to be 3 days after Kambo to induce deep naps in the afternoon: I have to say I NEVER HAVE GONE TO SLEEP WITHOUT THE MEDS FOR 25 YEARS, any kind of sleep.... so in my case this is revolutionary...

Hip asks:
Did your other CFS symptoms improve from kambo too? Typical CFS symptoms are: memory problems and forgetfulness, brain fog, noise or light sensitivity, anxiety/depression. Did you have these, and if so, did these symptoms all improve or disappear on kambo?

I don't have: noise or light sensitivity, anxiety/depression, but I do have a pain in the eyes, and blurry vision (this symptom decreases a lot, and then it does come back), as well as brain fog. I especially get it in the afternoon, I almost don't get it at all...

More then anyting I don't want to make false expectations. It did take me 2 weeks to get out of the bed, but I had been in bed by then some 2 months, which would have happened by that time. It could have been one month more though. But I would say it cuts my bed time in half I would say.  In past few years I have 2-3 months of bed time 2 times a year, which is already good for me, since since 2001 to 2006 I was bed bound, so I got better on my own body forces (which is already good for me), but now with Kambo, the change is "magical".

I think I am one of the worst cases, I am on disability, but others who work, either part or full time will get full health with few treatments with no doubt.

I am eager to see some of us CFS use the treatment.

good luck

Hi Hip,

actually, it is not Caapi alone, or Kambo alone, it has to be Kambo with Caapi, yet not at the same time. If it is close together actually they interact in the wrong way, it makes me actually not able to sleep even with meds.

My protocol is: Kambo by burns, 3 days later Caapi 100g, then I have spontaneous naps for a week, (yet at night I could bring down the meds, but I still had to take them). I have tried it two times, and it worked both times the same way.  What is your opinion?

I have great illusion that it may will do miracles. I think we, CFS/FM have the right to have dreams...lol...

I think the burns are not so much of the big deal. I can guide you through. Strong treatments are actually good. What are your worries regarding the burns?

Hi Hip,

thank you to attributing to the conversation, I have hard time finding anyone on CFS/FM forums to be interested in treatments that are helping me so much.

You are right:
Am I right in understanding that, with your kambo treatment, you changed from being a bedbound CFS patient, that presumably was too deeply fatigued to get out of bed for most of the day, to a much healthier person that was able to go out of the house, and go about their normal daily business with only relatively minor symptoms and relatively minor fatigue levels?

Is that a fair and correct description of the improvements you attained from kambo?

Yes, this is right. and I was not aware of this compound, I will do some more research on it. Yet it sounds like a dangerous drug, next to Kambo that so far has been totally safe in my case.

But I will ask you another thing. There is another benefit in doing Kambo + Banisteriopsis caapi, not at the same time though, first Kambo, then 2 days later, 100mg of Aya (no huasca).

What happened next was that I had spontaneous naps of 2 hours... This has been even more surprise to me. I could bring down my prescription sleep medications... Unfortunately, I have $ for the moment, but soon I will investigate this strange thing that happens. In my case I haven't been able to get any sleep of any kind without the medicine, in past 20 years, so this is even more revolutionary thing.

If you have any thoughts on this it will be appreciated, In this case however I would be interested to take MAOI, as prescritpion meds... since Aya is just a little to laborious to microdose, and expansive, yet for now I will stick to it.

btw, have you tried Kambo for CFS?

I prefer a piece of a branch for a tree, It gets red and lasts for long time, when bamboo stick burns too quickly, and the red area is too small.

The sieze should be 1/2 of the nail of your small finger... So bigger then you would think. It is easier to put the medicine on.

Make your medicine as watery as possible, this increase the absorption. Put the water on the bamboo stick for a some time without scraping, and then scrape it, it will come off easy, and then put some more water, mix it and then apply it...

Water, I don't know anything of saliva

Hi other1,

what comes to my mind is:

why don't you find a MD doctor who can work with Ibogaine too.  Is it legal in NZealand? If not then it may be a problem, but a psychiatrist who is not afraid to jeopardise his carrear is hard to find, or impossible... Just a thought.

Yet on the other hand I know how important medicine is for my friends with mental health problems I can see the confusion it may cause if you decide to drop it...

Physical Cleansing and Healing of Illnesses / Re: XXX large report
« on: January 28, 2013, 03:54:26 PM »
I have been using weekly since May of 2012 with great results. The reason is my suffering from Chronic Fatigue Syndrome CFS, or Fibromyalgia FM, or Myalgic Encephalitis ME.

I have received PM from a member who asked me if I have Herpes Viruses. I DO.... Post Herpes, and post viral conditions are related to CFS/FM/ME.  Yet no cause has been found as to why do patients with CFS ( I will use just this abbreviation for all) can't resolve the infection and enter in strange chronic condition.  Many chronic conditions, such as rheumatic arthritis is related also to Herpes viruses. Yet even though there is what is called "association" with viruses, it is not clear why do we react in such a way.  More then half of the population has these viruses, and these are the viruses of the central and peripheral nervous system. You can even get brain inflammation form herpes 1 or 2.  On this cite you can find a lots of scientific works all over the world, and is a good research place: http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed

What I want to say is that no much good is getting by doing tests for many possible agents, and in past 20 years I have this, there have been many "test" of many strange viruses, but eventually, it is about the immune system that has to get rid of them or control them, and our it seems that it doesn't do it.

Neuroimmunology is where we are, but not psychologycal aspect as they want sometimes to present. So everything that has to do with immunology ( especially lymph system) and nervous system has to do with us...

I think I have mentioned what I have done in the past, and Kambo has by far the best. In my case first day I am in bed, second I am half way, and third I function better then I could even with for.  I recommend you to just do it, ask us if you have doubts.

I think that Kambo flushes the lymph system, but who am I to run theories, BUT whatever that it is IT WORKS.

LOL.....

thank you Kambogahuasca Panacea for directing to eboka.info. I was confused how did it got to Eboka forum, now I understand.

Yes I do hav HSV-2 that I got in 2001, and on the face. That's when I got the sickest you can even imagine. I saw your link http://herpes-coldsores.com/ and I am glade to post my hell of life there. As a kid I did have mononucleosis, which is Epstein-Barr virus, which is herpes HHS-4.  This is the first "assosiation" virus found to CFS/MF. Yet now there is also this virus Coxsackie A virus, so in general I think this is some "post viral condition".

Doctors say they have "hard time" diagnosing CFS/FM. They have no clue, to me it takes me less then few questions to diagnose if yes or no. Even worst, doctors add this diagnosis next to 5 other... this is not the case, this condition is very specific, and more debilitating then any other I know of that is not leading to death.  We live like human corpses...

Yet it really doesn't matter the virus tests, what good does it do if you know you have HS2 IGM that is above what can be counted... I was on acyclovir for years...

Psicologicaly is nice to have to point out, HA THIS IS THE ONE, but most population have those, and live totally normal life.

Anyway I do Kambo weekly, soon I will post my protocol, and I couldn't ask for more. I am yet to discover the interaction of Aya-huasca, or Caapi in particular, that makes me take naps naturally, which for me is totally impossible. I will spend few months working on this to see what is all about, it is not clear to me...

Nobody has interest in this, I posted in two CFS/FM forums and nobody had interest in Kambo.... I don't feel like crying of my condition, I prefer fighting it, no matter what, so I will post no more there.

take care

General Discussion / Re: is kambo+caffeine dangerous?
« on: January 17, 2013, 10:32:27 PM »
Hi Kamamambo,

I always do Kambo in the morning on 1 L of water, and 1L of salt water.
After all the vomit, and horizontal phase is over, and when I am able to pass water down, I drink lemon juice, and if I have fresh ginger juice...
One hour after I drink strong coffee.

I have impression that it burns the toxins in the digestive tract... When I did Ayurvedic treatments they would give me some strong herbal mixture in a shut, to burn the toxins, it was strong and it will warm up the stomak. I don't know what is in there... but lemon and coffee is great for me.

My lord every time you post it is like a brand new revelation which rattles my previous conceptions.  Makes the Nexus seem like elementary school.

Hey Kambogahuasca Panacea, I am cracking up on this.... I felt the same way. I was reading the links Peacefull Warrior put, and it felt like phd in molecular biology, which is my family business( my mother, and 3 cousins), (not me of course).  And I just wonder if they could make any sense of it... or its just US....lol...

Hey Peacefull Warrior,

I read your posts on this forum, and looked at your links. This sounds like super complicated. Do you make your own extractions?

Or better it seems I need to enhance the dopamine and endorphine levels, especially after gym time. What should I do then.

Regarding the test, I just had beans, and didn't have Caapi in a week, and nothing happened.

Yet I don't have Caapi right now, it will come any moment, then I would do it with Kambo to see if I can get back to my naps, and eventually get to sleep naturally.

But again, do you produce yourself all these things in alcohol and oils, I am kind of blown away...

Hi all,

my thread went in a different direction but very interesting one. I wonder if it could be explored in a new thread.

in this thread by the end the discussion I am interested starts:
http://kambo.me/smf/index.php?topic=153.0

One of my main porblems with CFS, is the sleep. After physical stress, my body doesn't sleep. Nothing made it better, yet just two weeks ago something happened:

I did Kambo on Sunday and then Caapi 100mg brew on Wednesday. For a week I could take naps. For me that hasn't happened in 25 years.

I got confused, didn't know what caused it, it was not Kambo, because I did it for 6 months and it didn't produce sleep. If I do Caapi alone it doesn't produce sleep either.

Yet in a thread, I mentioned Peaceful Warrior, talks about blue lotus and dopamine interruptions.

Yet on Wiki I found out:

Dopamine is directly broken down into inactive metabolites by two enzymes, monoamine oxidase (MAO) and catechol-O-methyl transferase (COMT). It is equally metabolized by the two respective isoforms of MAO, MAO-A and MAO-B.

So in other words, MAOI, or Caapi, INCREASES the dopamine (?).

then on :
http://library.thinkquest.org/13561/english/physical.html

Dopamine is located adjacent to where Endorphin is released in the brain. And so there is a link, so that when Dopamine function declines, so does Endorphin function. Endorphins regulate pain. And so, pain increases when stress causes the Dopamine function to fail.

What would be connection with Kambo and Caapi to cause the sleep?

It seems that Blue Lotus does exactly the opposite, right? it suppresses the dopamine.

Any ideas?

I am just brain storming, but I am onto something very important for my health, so I guess I would have to practice with all this plants and Kambo to see what will do it.

HI Peacefull Warrior,

thak you for the response. I will research on what you mention regarding the EO.

But what interests me is the blue lotus. What is it, and where can I get more info regarding the use and benefits?

thank you
