Diet before and after / Re: Best Kambo diet?
« on: January 20, 2014, 09:21:25 AM »
Yeah I don't agree with all of what he said and in fact I've seen many videos of indigenous people purging their guts out from Kambo.  I just like the more primal diet going along with this medicine.  Makes for a more clean experience than when I use to eat carbs.

The Process / Re: possible sepsis/blood poisoning?!

My intuition is that you are over reacting but alas only time will tell.  I've left Kambo dots on for 2 weeks with the help of Sangre de Grado to keep them secure and experienced no ill effects.  I've also left it on numerous times for long periods with no ill effect.  Hope all is well.

Application / Re: Rectal administration

Well if you want to do Kambo I strongly recommend being proud of your burn marks.  Otherwise it would seem the therapy has no use.  To be native in this plastic world, with the only body art as rites of passage.

I didn't realize this was the first to come up in this section.  You wouldn't believe how careless people are in entheogenic crowds and forums, I'm really trying to distance myself and Kambo from those people.  I apologize if I flogged you but it was just a general response and not to be taken personal.

I won't even do this method and I am a regular user of enemas.  Any alternative method seems silly to me, no matter how creative people get it pales in comparison to the surgically precise burn.

That's not a good idea.  Do it with burns but not in that space.  Traditionally for starters is much safer than choosing an alternative method in the beginning.

Since no one has done it via that route there is no way to be reasonably safe.

Frankly I wonder if you should even do Kambo, your approach seems risky at best and not well researched.  I'm going to protect the medicine here and say safety and respect for the tradition (burns).  I don't think you have done one iota of research, maybe this will irritate you to hear but I'm going to stand on solid ground here and say go back to the drawing board and really think about what you are considering and why.

Application / Re: Concentrating kambo into a liquid

I had been wondering about the Iboga extract on burns theory.  Glad I didn't try it, I don't think I would have survived as I was going to do it while applying the Kambo dots.  Double wammy and a visit to the divine mother's critical care unit.

Diet before and after / Best Kambo diet?
« on: December 10, 2013, 01:13:42 AM »
I liked what Peter Gorman said on this...

Quote
Kamaboguhuasca: I've never seen an adult Matses/Mayoruna male in good health vomit with sapo. I've seen some take 8- quarter-inch burns--and not vomit. They make retching sounds but since their diet is so clean--meat, raw or on a fire, yucca, masato, fish (sun-dried or boiled or on the fire), some boiled or fire roasted plantains; good tree bark, pineapple, various leaves for digestion--I don't think there is much to clean out.

I think he's right.  Especially as few carbs as possible for purity.  Healthy meats are quite complimentary to the wild nature of the frog and it's diet of insects.  We could eat insects that the Kambo has as a dieta experiment to bond with the frog.

I'll use my Saliva next time.  First though I will spit a bunch up and then put it in a spray bottle.  Yes I was not open to this before but now upon reflection it makes total sense, the indigenous technology is based on practiced evidence.  What about applying with Ayahuasca as your liquid?

I'm confident I have had success doing it.  I have nothing else to go off of.

Physical Cleansing and Healing of Illnesses / Re: Kambo for myopia ?
« on: November 28, 2013, 04:00:07 PM »
I think it helps with vision especially if using Sananga (can search function here) -Amazonian visionary eye drops.  They tribes use both medicines for hunting and the Sananga is for making things very clear and apparent.  For instance what is usually camafloged becomes visible.

Points you can learn from studying acupuncture charts of the ear, hands and feet.

I've had great success doing Kambo after Iboga floods.  I have done it only two weeks after and it only seemed to synergizes.  To be honest my theory is that it would be even more helpful to do it a week after.  It worked counter rationally in this way and seemed to keep the noribogaine In the fat cells just fine and dandy.

General Discussion / Re: my kambo stick isn't clean... do i need a new one?

It is but try to clean off with only a bit of water, too much water will take medicine but just a bit will clean the dirt.

General Discussion / Re: Conditions for healing and it being granted

When this happens more than a few times, the idea and feeling of not being granted to heal takes hold. How to deal with this? And what are your thoughts on this.

I find this such a mature post and applaud you writing it to disclose some thoughts around your process and how it is very relevant to others.  I've had amazing healing ceremonies where everything went right and the rewards were rather infinite in grace and gratitude for life, then (more often than not it seems) I have the ceremonies where not everything goes just right and there are 'wobbly' moments that effect the results.  The best qualities I can think to cultivate is organization along with the details of cleanliness of environment (inner and outer), being in healthy relationships and if not doing what is necessary before hand to admit your part in the disturbance, and being especially prepared in the ways of meditation and thought process.

When things don't go all right I totally admit I have a brush of losing faith a bit of depression over my goals and a an overall questioning of my life path.  But so far despite these minor and sometimes major doubts I feel the need to be committed to this very alternative path and the unknown harvests that will be due at some point.  I think being in a path like this is almost like investing in them.  I understand what your talking about and I apologize that my words are not precise enough.

Introductions / Re: Hmm, kambo eh....

Greetings,
I personally would only use Kambo if you feel strongly called to it or it calls to you.  If it is just a passive interest than is likely not good to entertain the idea of using it.  I think your formula of studying about it could well entice the call but that is in your own heart and only accessible within.
