It took me another 3 years, but I finally got the guts to do this again.  I completely forgot how painful this is and how horrible it makes you feel... I seriously don't know how people can go for hours on kambo but maybe you get used to it.  I did 3 dots and had a pretty intense experience for like 15 minutes then it died down pretty fast.  I tried reapplying more dots to the same burns but nothing really happened the 2nd time.  Anyone know why?  Also I noticed my fingernails turned blue during the experience so I'm wondering if that's normal or not.  I think I'll try again tomorrow and find some meridian points and see what happens, but I feel like 15 minutes might be a little short for what a normal experience should be.

It is comforting knowing things like kambo and ayahuasca will more than likely still be present in south america even if they are banned in the rest of the world (including the plants and natural ethnobotanicals we should legally be able to buy online..) but at the same time its not exactly cheap to get down there so lets hope things don't get to that point

Only one way to test the waters: just say fu** it and dive straight in like a champ... might be the best decision you ever make, who knows

General Discussion / Re: What would kambo be effective for
« on: September 12, 2013, 12:39:08 AM »
Yeah fasting is probably similar to exercise.  At first its brutal and painfully hard to adjust, but the more you do it the easier it gets.  It will be difficult for a time but eventually it will be a cinch

General Discussion / Re: Physical differences after doing kambo
« on: August 31, 2013, 03:09:17 AM »
Interesting.  I have yet to do kambo on a regular basis but I can relate to this except in the opposite way.  I dont feel like i'm doing anything different than anyone else out there and I try to keep a good attitude and go out of my way to help others and just be happy but a majority of people out there are repelled from me.  I get constant negative reactions and feedback from others and people always make me feel like there's something wrong with me.  I can't figure it out for the life of me, but I guess this is where the whole panema thing comes in I suppose.  Guess its time for more kambo..

I know this is probably a lot more mild but I had an ulcer a few years ago and at first I had no idea what it was.  The pain gradually got worse to the point where I would curl up in a ball in my bed thinking I was dying of cancer because it was so severe.  I did a ton of research and found something in the health food store that cured me in two days: mastic gum.

Its a resin that comes from a shrub in the Mediterranean region in Europe, pretty amazing stuff.  I was reading ulcerative colitis can be associated with ulcers?  Well i'm sure theres a lot to it and I dont know the details about it but all I know is that my ulcer was healed in two days and never came back ever again.  Its worth a shot give it a try..

Kambo for Restoring Innate and Dormant Instincts / Re: Dreaming
« on: August 31, 2013, 02:14:40 AM »
Maybe a combo of kambo followed by some dream herb (Calea zacatechichi) would be synergistic and give you some really wild dreams.  I've made a few brews of dream herb before but I don't think the dose was high enough, plus its so damn bitter that I kinda gave up on it.  It makes peyote tea taste like a strawberry smoothie compared to that shit, and I can barely choke down peyote anymore if that tells you something..

Worth another try though, I bet they would combine pretty well.  Gonna give it another go myself, maybe add it a few hours after kambo just before bedtime

Ok, so I just got back from Costa Rica a few weeks ago and I did a week long juice fast along with a number of enemas each day to flush out my insides and clear myself out at a little resort down there.  I see the benefits now with the enemas you were talking about and I think I will implement these along with my kambo treatments (I couldn't believe what came out of me during that week, was almost disturbing to be honest). I feel great though.

The people running the treatment/resort place I was staying at noticed my burns and asked about my kambo treatments.  I didn't get any good feedback though, as they considered it unsafe and actually "dangerous".  I was almost disrespected in a way because they basically told me its stupid to put yourself through pain and that vomiting is a sign of a bad body response which isn't beneficial at all.  I tried to explain my side and some of benefits I've read about but they were actually trying to convince me to stay away from kambo.  I didn't really know how to respond I guess, after a certain point I didn't really feel like arguing anymore and I didn't want to listen to them all bombard me with their preaching.  I'm gonna keep going with it because I feel like it came to me for a reason, but I guess that's the reason why I asked.

Wow, you're a brave soul kampum.  Not only in a physical sense but a mental and spiritual one as well holy shit dude..
Have you had any long term effects yet from these intense treatments?  Would you recommend people gradually going for this level if they are healthy enough?  I'm just wondering if these overly intense treatments might be a little too much for the body or if it is worth it in the end

Whats it like when you do stimulants?  Is it a quick up and a hard crash?  Obviously doing stimulants regularly would be a bad idea but i'm just curious I guess

3 hours sounds brutal, good god man.  I have to admit that a lot of crap came out the other end as well, not just purging.  This was pretty painful as well, and I definitely felt like it was necessary.  One odd thing I noticed however is about 2 hours later after I was finished I had to release another bowel movement but this time barely anything came out, just small squirts of a dark yellow liquid came out little by little.  And holy hell did it burn.  I had that typical nauseating, cramping feeling and it took a good half hour to finish, but by time I was done I was disappointed on how little came out although the entire bowl was covered in this dark yellow liquid.

Maybe I didn't purge enough and it slowly made its way out the other end later, I don't know.  But man did it burn, it felt like acid coming out my ass.  The bile when I was purging tasted god awful as well, extremely bitter.  Maybe this is what we need to learn so we don't pollute our bodies anymore..

So after fasting through the night I woke up and started preparing for my first ever kambo experience.  Not knowing what to expect, I decided to start with 3 burns and see how it turned out.  I know it is recommended to make match sized dots, but mine were a bit bigger as were my burns.  Within about 10-15 seconds I instantly felt my heart racing, skin and hands burning, and intense nausea.  Wow.  Now I know how uncomfortable this is.  Within about a minute I was purging, and after about 3-4 minutes of purging it started to die down dramatically.  After about 10 minutes I felt fine, with the effects almost completely diminished.

I definitely got frog faced.  Big time.  Lips, cheeks, and even around my eyes were swollen pretty good, but that is a good thing i'm guessing?  I decided to do 5 dots on my other arm an hour later, and the same experience happened: about 10 minutes of pain then baseline.  Maybe next time i'll add 7 dots and see what happens, as I think I should have purged more.  Overall pretty painful but worth it..

Kampum, any chance you could give details on how you make your tea mixture? (Specifically the amounts of each herb?) Just wondering how much of each to put in the water

Is Rape' as addictive as cigarettes?  It is probably much healthier though right?  Considering all the chemicals they put in cigarettes im sure Rape' is much more pure.  What would you say is the main difference between the two as far as addiction and cravings go and how powerful are the healing effects with Rape'?  Just trying to get an idea of how much I want to be doing this..
