This product, a blood cleansing formula, should be quite beneficial to your psoriasis.

Endotoxin binding
Evidence seems to support sarsaparilla as an endotoxin binder. Endotoxins are cell constituents of bacteria that are absorbed from the gut. Normally, the liver filters out these and other gut-derived compounds before they reach the general circulation. If the amount of endotoxin absorbed is excessive or the liver is not functioning adequately, the liver can become overwhelmed, and endotoxins will spill into the blood.
If endotoxins are allowed to circulate, activation of the alternate complement system occurs. This system plays a critical role in aggravating inflammatory processes, and activation of complement is responsible for much of the inflammation and cell damage that occurs in many diseases.
For example, individuals with psoriasis have been shown to have high levels of circulating endotoxins. In a controlled study of 92 patients, an endotoxin-binding saponin (sarsaponin) from sarsaparilla greatly improved the psoriasis in 62% of the patients and resulted in complete clearance in 18%.
In further support of sarsaparilla's effect as a binder of endotoxin is its historical use in the treatment of fever, as absorbed endotoxins produce fever. Sarsaparilla also exhibits some antibiotic activity, but this is probably secondary to its endotoxin-binding action.

It appears that sarsaparilla's medicinal effects occur as it binds bacterial endotoxins in the gut, rendering them unabsorbable. This greatly reduces stress on the liver and other organs and is responsible for sarsaparilla's historical use as a blood purifier.
Dosage
Sarsaparilla can be used at the following dosages as a “blood purifier” and tonic as well as for conditions associated with high endotoxin levels, most notably psoriasis, eczema, arthritis, and ulcerative colitis. Doses should be taken three times daily:
-Dried root: 1-4 grams or by decoction
-Liquid extract (1:1): 8-12 milliliters (2 or 3 tsp.)
-Solid extract (4:1): 250 mg

You don't need a shaman. You just need to learn. All the information is here, just do your research and feel free to ask any questions along the way. The better prepared you are, the better the experience will be. I have summed the entire experience up once or twice on here before, in step-by-step manner; I'll see if I can find one of those posts. I have treated a friend who has psoriasis, with kambo. I looked in my book of Tui Na Chinese acupressure massage for the acupuncture points that were said to treat skin conditions like psoriasis. I did one session on him and he reported that it cleared up a good amount, upon which it later returned because he did no further therapies.

Psoriasis is an autoimmune disease of over toxicity. You want clean the liver and gallbladder as well as the blood. I have sent him info before which I will try to retrieve. Start taking detoxifying herbs like dandelion, milk thistle, red clover, cleavers, burdock, artichoke, etc., and eating clean, a large ratio of plants foods in your diet. You can consider fasting as well and herbal enemas. Information on both of those therapies are on this forum, though they may not be in the most accurate sections, because I just recently added a bunch of new sections to the forum. Kambo does help with psoriasis because it is deeply cleansing.

Sananga and Piri-Piri / Re: piri piri
« on: May 23, 2016, 09:01:20 AM »
Plugged about 12 ml of piri-piri.

I've been interested in use of piri-piri as a better alternative to morning glory and Hawaiian baby woodrose as they seem to have some toxic and vasoconstrictive constituents. But there's not much to report but I'm sure I will experience the effects I mentioned, like vivid dreaming, to an increased extent.

Sananga and Piri-Piri / Re: piri piri
« on: May 23, 2016, 03:54:43 AM »
I loved working with Piri-Piri. I felt that it almost helped me feel like I was on more of an autopilot. That I did things without thinking too much, that turned out to be the right things to do. Like is said, it helps spiritual vision and making the right choices. I also noticed that as little as 2 drops a day kept me dreaming vividly.

A few years back I had read a little about cyperus grass on forums, and recognized a bundle of some species growing at the edge of a lake in the area of the Poconos, Pennsylvania. I pulled it up and bagged it, later I tried smoking some roots and noticed definite increase in visual acuity, color saturation, and tracers. I saved it to make a decoction from later, but it ended up getting lost in the basement.

I have also saved the second half of my piri-piri because I was curious about oral effects and plan to drink the rest when I get around to sampling it. I would do it now but I've read it has NMDA antagonism. And my tolerance for such compounds is very high at the moment.

Do you have any experience with oral use of piri-piri or have had any experiences of the differences between the different ones?

Thanks for posting that info.
And welcome, tysonic, to the forum.  ;D

cheers.

Harmine and Other MAOIs / Ginko biloba as MAO Inhibitor
« on: May 19, 2016, 08:05:00 PM »
Upon searching forums I see few mentions of Ginkgo biloba as an MAOi, usually regarded as a light one.
From what I'm reading it seems it is not that weak of an MAOi.
As anyone ever tried ginkgo for orally activating DMT or other MAO substrates?

Quote
It was proposed that ginko may potentiate monoamine oxidase (MAO) inhibitors (speculative),150 due to the evidence that EGb7671 and the fresh and dried leaves and flavonoids including isorhamnetin and especially kaempferol inhibit MAO-A and MAO-B (in vitro).786,,916 One individual taking 4 capsules of ginkgo standardized extract had a 30% and 50% inhibition of human platelet MAO-B after 1 and 3 hours, respectively, and drinking a tea made from 2 grams of dried leaves reduced platelet MAO-B by 29% after 1 hour (PO in human case study).786
HOWEVER, no effects were shown on mouse or rat brain MAO or concentrations of bioamines (ex vitro) when rats were given 10mg/kg kaempferol or 15 mg/kg ginkgo extract orally 3 hours prior.916 Based on behavioral evidence, no MAO inhibition was found with 100 mg/kg standardized ginkgo extract EGb 761, except for slight excitation from 100mg/kg tryptamine given intravenously (PO in mice).1053 In 10 subjects taking 120 mg/day of ginkgo extract EGb 761 for 1 month, no significant changes in brain MAO-A or MAO-B were measurable (PO in human study). This does not rule out the possibility of MAO inhibition occurring outside the brain that might lead to significant interactions.615
High concentrations of the concentrated extract EGb 761 inhibit uptake of serotonin (in vitro) and dopamine (in vitro).193
HOWEVER, lower concentrations (achieved in vivo with a dose of 100 mg/kg) increase serotonin uptake by synaptosomes (in vitro, PO in mice) and do not affect dopamine uptake (in vitro).192

Extracts of Ginkgo biloba leaves produce reversible inhibition of rat brain monoamine (MAO). Both MAO-A and -B types were inhibited to a similar extent. The MAO inhibitory compound(s) were present in dried or fresh Ginkgo biloba leaves as well as in commercially available capsules of Ginkgo biloba and appear to be heat stable with relatively low molecular weight. MAO inhibition by Ginkgo biloba may be a mechanism underlying reported anti-stress and anxiolytic activities of this natural product.
