Herb Spotlight / Boneset
« on: September 24, 2021, 08:21:32 PM »
Boneset has a long history of being used for fever relief and for its antibiotic/antiviral qualities. The folklore behind its name is often called into question. Many in the academic circles of herbalism have struggled to isolate the common compounds we would expect to see in a plant that assists with bone health. Still, anecdotal evidence brings us story after story of people who have successfully used its leaves for broken bones. Matthew Wood, a well known herbalist and author, reconciles this by finding evidence that it appears to increase blood flow to the periosteum, which is the fibrous membrane covering the surface of our bones.

If a person has had one or more treatments with kambo, given the results of these treatments, are there rules of thumb that indicate the likely effectiveness of future kambo treatments?
In other words, what sort of guidance for future kambo treatments is provided by the earlier results a person has had?
When and how can you tell that future kambo treatments either will or will not likely be effective?

It's basically just a detoxification. You purge, you throw up, the kambo puts the toxins out into the eliminatory channels of the body,
It makes your body want to get everything out. You will have a stronger bowel movement afterwards - more plaque comes out, excrete more out've your urine, stomach bile, when you throw up.

Application / Re: Additional Test Points During Subsequent Kambo Sessions?

Do you need to do a test point during subsequent kambo sessions if the first one went OK?

No.

Quote
In other words, if during your first kambo session you didn't have any breathing problems, etc. then can you be very confident that this won't be a problem during any and all future kambo sessions?

Yes. unless you are on any drugs, have complications that might lower your blood pressure, like having an illness or drug withdrawals.
You can use cayenne tincture, to squirt in the mouth, if feeling faint, It will wake the person up.

If you do need to do a test point during, say, the second kambo session, just to be careful, then how many successful sessions do you need to do before you can be very confident that there won't be any serious problems during any and all future sessions?

Its just an allergy test, basically, and not a common occurence., that people become faint from kambo.

Application / Re: Danger Symptoms of the 30 Minute Burn Spot Test?
« on: August 13, 2021, 03:25:25 AM »
An example might be tightness in the throat, and a hard time swallowing. Microdosing as an allergy test is done with all sorts of biologically active drugs by cautious people, including psychoactive research chemicals. As the majority of people aren't going to have an allergic reaction to kambo, it's really up to the one administered the kambo to decide if it all seems copacetic, and if they want to push it to an agreeable full dose.

Application / Re: How long do you leave the test point on?
« on: August 13, 2021, 03:23:39 AM »
For an allergy test or supersensitivity, you must burn the skin and apply a globule of kambo, like in a normal kambo administration.
Kambo is applied this way because it absorbs and has effects upon and through the lymphatic system.
Without first burning the skin and scraping any dead skin layer off before applying, the kambo will do nothing.
