Complementary Modalities / Re: Powerful blenders
« on: December 04, 2014, 04:04:04 PM »
My friend.  Please allow me to give you one scientific fact you can take home.

Anytime you hear about alkalizing one's body, you are listening to the hugest piece of non-scientific bullshit and you'd better turn your back on whoever promotes that alkalinity bunk because you're getting health advice from a quack.

Your body is acid and can self regulate it's acidity all by itself.  Proteins are made of amino acids, DNA is Deoxy-Ribonucleic-Acid, Vitamin A is Ascrobic Acid, your stomach contains hydrochloric ACID and virtually everything good for you is ACID.  Alkalines are dangerous substances... think of caustic soda that can melt one's skin in a matter of seconds. And that's not even a strong alkaline.

Be healthy, be well and stop buying into the Alkaline myth.  Enjoy your acidity.. it's what you're suppose to be :)

Precautions / Re: KambĂ´ in use with women on their period
« on: December 04, 2014, 03:56:06 PM »
I think my little knowledge of biology can come handy here.

All vasodilatants are a bad idea for women at times when it can interfere with menses (that's during the first 4 days of the period as well as 5 days before).  Kambo will be no different.   Also to be avoided are blood thinners, like Aspirin and Gingko Biloba.

If used the period itself will contain more blood than usual because more blood will have made it into the uterus (for the natural purpose of serving as food in case a baby was made).  That is not a real problem really.  The real issue is that vasodilatants or thinners being active DURING menstruation will contribute to more sever cramps, as they will lead more blood to be lost.

Let me make it clear that there's no cause for drama, however.   It's nothing so sever that a normally healthy woman can't overcome.  Loss of vitamins/minerals/iron won't be in serious quantities and can be easily recouped again by eating a normal diet.  Yet it's a good idea to avoid completely un-necessary stress on the reproductive organs.

Kambo is therefore best done any day as long as it's not 5 days before or within 4 days of a period.  Traditionally women get their points done just above the ankle.

General Discussion / Re: Kambo and upper respiratory infections

Another very interesting note, this person slept with ease the night and had a vivid precog dream.  This is odd.

How do you know it's precog?  It actually happened later?

Also, one reason I'll be using Kambo is to avoid being sick all winter. Like last winter, and it wasn't the hardest winter ever either.

I have part of my right lung that infects very easily.  I suspect that I got something trapped in there, a foreign thing I inhaled or some old mucus that just fell there and got stuck.  I have this since beginning of 2005.  If Kambo ever gets me to purge that thing, or at least prevent me from getting sick I'll be eternally grateful.  We'll test that when the cold weather comes.

Breathing problems just suck.

General Discussion / Re: The bowel purge and pathogenic biofilm
« on: August 10, 2014, 05:08:50 AM »
You do know that bacteria in the intestines are there for beneficial reasons don't you?  They are in fact helpful not just for digestion and metabolism but you own immunity as well!

I haven't read that you have a harmful bacterial infection giving you trouble, so are you sure fighting off those microbes is a good idea anyway?  So what if you have biofilm?  I'd be more worried if you didn't have it.  It doesn't mean there's an issue, unless you're like getting so much film that it's clogging your tract or something.

Besides, there are about 10 times bacteria in your gut than there are cells in your entire body.  Even if you eliminate 99.9% of them, they will be able to find enough nutrition to repopulate back to the original amount in about 5 and a half hours.

Either way, if it's a big dump you want; I wish you luck!  Whatever makes you happy  ;D

Kambo for Restoring Innate and Dormant Instincts / Re: Dreaming
« on: August 04, 2014, 03:40:13 AM »
I am currently experimenting with Silene Capensis and Ubhubhubhu.

Yes, with Kambo the effectiveness is increased, probably because it allows substances to flow better to the brain.

Lucid dreaming and dreaming in general is enhanced also with Guayusa and occasionally supplementation of vitamin B (sulbuthiamine is best).

DO NOT use Iboga if you are using any dream herb.  Terrible hangover-like dizzyness and fatigue for days (which sulbuthiamine can help with recovery but still not desirable).

Kambo & Iboga / Re: Iboga eye drops
« on: August 03, 2014, 07:14:18 PM »
Distilled water absolutely, just like sterilized containers, clean environments and so on.  This stuff is going to go in the eye so all precautions possible should be taken.

Like I said, At this stage I really cannot determine how much root bark to add with how much water.
This depends on 2 factors.

1) neutralising the concentration of the citric acid.  I've considered adding an alkaline to this but it seems alkalines are actually more harmful than acids especially to the eye membrane.  Also, reactions between acids and alkalines always produce water and some variety of salt... most salts just shouldn't go in the eyes.

2) The amount of active ingredient extracted.  This active Iboganoid is still unidentified and its abundance may depend on many factors, like how much is present in the plant to the process itself.  Also, I am just assuming that it's present in the Iboga plant based on:
  a) Both the Sananga and Iboga plants are relatives
  b) Apparently someone tried Iboga Eyedrops already on a separate forum and reported Eagle Vision
  c)  My own experience with Iboga TA improving my eyesight temporarily (like 3 days)

Currently what we know about the active ingredient is that, unlike ibogaine it is water soluble.  As far as I'm concerned I know no scientific research done on Sananga.  If I knew more about the active ingredient perhaps a process called chromatography would be enough to determine if it exists in Iboga and Vocanga as well.

Potential Dangers
The reflex to blink/close one's eyes when something is fast approaching may be shut down temporarily.  (this is an important defense to protect the eyes. Ibogaine does this and this may or may not happen.

An overdose from the Iboganoid may or may not happen and if it occurs may cause nose bleeds.  This was reported on another forum.

why not colloidal silver itself ?

Because frankly colloidal silver is nothing but quackery.   It is dangerous.

Even if it does prevent fungal/bacterial growth  (which some times it doesn't), there is something like silver poisoning.  It's called argyria or argyrosis.  Argyrosis in the eyes can cause partial blindness and hypersensitivity to light.

And no, it's not true that silver will kill bacteria/pathogens from water/food and leave your body without any bad effects.  That's a complete lie by the scammers who sell the stuff.

Silver NEVER leaves the body.

As for killling viruses, that's complete BS.  There are viruses that thrive in HOT sulfur vapor coming from volcanoes.  Viruses are, and will remain everywhere.

Kambo & Iboga / Re: Iboga eye drops
« on: August 03, 2014, 02:52:45 AM »
Sorry to bump up an old topic but I thought I could add my few cents here.

Iboga eyedrops is actually something I'd like to try at some point.  Sananga interests me but seems very hard to find so far, so since iboga is a relative to tabernamontana Undulata, I suspect that the active alkaloid is found in Iboga, maybe even in higher doses.

I clearly remember that after my first TA flood dose, my eyes could see really well without glasses.  I was shocked at this.  This went on for almost the entire duration of the afterglow until at one point I realised that the effect was gone.  I am myself a bit short sighted.  This made me believe that whatever is acting in Sananga may very well be present in Iboga, or at least a similarly acting compound.

My Plan

Step 1) Take root bark and lemon juice and make a muddy mixture out of the root bark dust and lemon juice.

Why?

1)  It seems to me that one important thing for the alkaloids to soak out of the plant is an acidic water.  The amazon river is rich in tannic acid (ph 6-6.4), which I guess helps the extraction of whatever the active ingredient is.

2)  Because over here lemon is used as an eye tonic as well.  Lemon has citric acid (Ph 3) I would have opted for other acids otherwise, like white vinegar (acetic acid ph 3.5-5).

3)  Alkaloid out if Iboga, as well as from other plants is extracted with an acidic solution.  I am guessing (yes it's just a guess) that the active component that improves vision is a variant of Ibogaine.   Ibogaine is NOT itself soluble in water but it may be possible that a variant of Ibogaine (or noribogaine, ibogamine, ibogaline....ect) present in the plant, soluble in water is what we are after for the Sananga effect.

4)  Why make a mud?  First of all to let a a higher concentration of acid act on the bark.  Higher concentrations would make the end product burn the eyes for no real benefit.  You just want to have enough acid concentration at this stage to draw the alkaloid out of the bark, react to the bark and the job is done.  Any remaining acid will then be diluted in water.

5) last reason for why lemon.  It's because I have a lemon tree and that makes lemons easily available  :D
__________
Step 2) After letting it soak for about 4 hours hot water will be added to the solution.   And let it soak there from 14 to 24 hours.

At this stage I really cannot determine how much root bark to add with how much water.  I guess this will take a bit of trial and error.   One really doesn't want the solution to have too much acid nor too much iboganoid.  If the iboganoid (a term I'm using for the hypothetical, Ibogaine-like compound) if too concentrated it may over stimulate the nerves in the nostril causing the nose to believe it's detecting poison and this may result in anything from watering nose (one of the known effects of too much ibogaine) to nose bleeding;  which is what the nose does if it thinks too much poison has been absorbed through it.  It's an emergency clean up procedure but an unpleasant and unhealthy one.
____________
Step 3)

Using a funnel and filter paper pour the liquid in a clean container.  Pour slowly, making sure that no sold matter pases through.  After that, you can hard press the paper with your hand to force more liquid out.  Rinse with more lukewarm water and repeat, making sure not to break the filter paper.

Your Iboga eyedrop solution is now ready.  You can sterilize it by heating close to boiling point or with colloidal silver.

The remaining solid matter still contains lots of alkaloids.  You can dry it out (in the sun perhaps) and swallow it later.  Since some alkaloids will already be out of the bark without the aid of your gastric fluids, this batch will likely act faster.
 ________

I might have something more to add later on this.  Depending on feedback.

Introductions / Just another new member

Hi all,

Burnmark here but for brevity feel free to use BM.

I can't say I have had lots of experience with healing, other than when i was sick I always left my body to heal itself, giving it the best help I can get.  I consider myself as much of a newbie as they come to traditional medicines.

I have been reading about Kambo, Iboga and other medicines for a long time now.  Even experimenting with them.  Iboga is one thing I researched for over 3 years until I did a flood dose which was a remarkable experience.  It was hell, had it's great moments but ultimately it helped me to get rid of a bad case of Pride and sense of entitlement which was affecting many aspects of my life, and my happiness negatively.

Now I'm feeling called to Kambo, hoping to gain benefits I would otherwise be missing without it.  My hopes are that it helps me to get rid of a headache I often get, that I suspect is the result of prolonged bad posture when using the computer (iboga alerted me to this cause).  This posture is something I recently corrected and have reduced/controlled the headache much better but I really want to get rid of it once and for all.   Not just numb it away, but actually get rid of it, improve circulation to my head and heal any nerve that may be damaged as well.  I've read psylocibin is good for cluster headaches but I'm keeping that as a last option due to the fact that it's not legal where I live and I currently don't have a sitter.  Mine is not exactly a cluster headache anyway.

Another health issue I have is that I easily get colds.  Last winter I spent it in a cold from November till early March.  As soon as I inhale cold air I start getting sick.  I have been noticing since I recovered from the worst Influenza ever (Between December 2004 and january 2005) that I have part of my lungs that is very sensitive to cold and that seems to be causing me trouble.  it's like something is clogged in there (like solidified mucus or something) that gets my body to go crazy at the first chill. I can't even smell a cigarette from afar in winter because that's sure to cause me a cold.  Because of the condition I can't even exercise or enjoy a walk.  I would exercise in summer but that headache thing gets in the way too.  I miss the days I could keep fit a lot :(

Yesterday I dipped my feet in the Kambo sea, so to speak.  It was nothing more than a little trial to gain experience.  I had to learn how to form the globules from scratch and so on.  That wasn't that hard.  What got me confused was the burns as I couldn't figure if the burn was deep enough or not.  I attempted 3 burns, the first one of which got me confused so I kept buring and burning until I couldn't feel the hot bamboo stick against it, which got me to think "I guess that's deep enough".   I am a very white skinned guy and I couldn't notice any difference between burned skin and normal skin.  I guess that will come with practice.  Not all burns were equal.  One was bid and deep, the second one was acceptable but smaller, the other one didn't even matter.  I had some effects (swelling underneath the eyes, fever...) but didn't purge, even though I felt like I really wanted to vomit.

So that's basically where I am.  Humble beginnings and too eager to play with fire. :)

Other interests I have are dream plants and lucid dreaming.  I remember being a natural lucid dreamer up until my late teens and I would like to regain that back, and perhaps make it better.  Dream plants are a relatively new area of study for me though and research seems to be scarce at the moment.

I also love chickens a lot.  And camels.  And dragonflies.  And whales.  I love all nature but chickens are really close to my heart. :)  I like women too BTW.

At last, I'd like to thank all of you here for the information you're making available.  This forum is a great learning tool.  See you around.
