General Discussion / Re: Does kambo contain an opiate?
« on: July 27, 2012, 01:39:35 AM »
I think I forgot to mention he also failed with methadone in his system, which he HAD taken a small dose off three weeks prior and I was thinking that maybe the Kambo could have brought that to the surface in his system, but he hasn't done any other sort of opiates for at least six months, maybe longer.  He also did an Ibo flood a few hours later, He had the best time, there were no problems,  There is the possibility that he has damaged his liver with years of drinking, but he had gone over three months without it before the combo, he had done Kambo once before, but didn't get the full effect.  This last time he didn't so much feel the Kambo in his head, but felt it in his stomach area, I was thinking it may have been working on his liver, he also had the urge to urinate yet couldn't easily, like he used to when he was using opiates frequently and  of course drinking a LOT, but that problem went away again the next day.  I just want to also say that he said today, that the thought of drinking alcohol over the last week( since flooding), for the first time ever, seems disgusting to him! Yay!!!  I am SO glad he didn't get kicked out of his program, I think the tests they use are pretty standard home test type though they did just "up-grade" them recently, it showed only traces of BOTH methadone and opiates.  Could the Ibo also bring old drugs to the surface? even if he hasn't done them for six+ months?  I would have thought it would have detoxed any traces of it away, if he had them in his system.  I was thinking that maybe had he not done the Iboga it would have been a more definitive fail.  He is having his liver checked next week.  but even if his liver is having problems metabolizing things,  I still doubt it would take six months to take VERY recreational use of morphine to show up.   This has me concerned,  He is pretty sure it is the Kambo, and maybe the Kambo  or Iboga brought to the surface the methadone.  It should be a consideration anyway ,maybe some more research.  If someone is trying to heal with Kambo, but may be on probation or as in his situation, a roof over his head could have been taken away.  Hmmmm...  if anyone else knows about this chime in please  :)
Thanks Lala

General Discussion / Does kambo contain an opiate?
« on: July 23, 2012, 09:31:13 PM »
Hello,

maybe someone can answer this question, and if the answer is a possible yes, then we should make everyone aware.
Fist, I gave a good friend of mine Kambo, several hours before giving him Iboga, he had a weekend pass from the salvation army, the only place he could get into for treatment for free at the time, the other places have a huge waiting list.  He has been an alcoholic for many years, he has also been a heroin addict but has quit that on his own for 8 years now, with one slip up two years ago.  He had a wonderful experience with the combo, that lasted until very early Sat. Morning, he also did not have the negative Iboga side effects right afterward ( he even had a healthy appetite) BUT he gets back to the salvation army and they drug test him, he came up positive for opiates, he saw the test and everything (he was worried they might throw him out being an Atheist) I had read that the close relative of Kambo that was used in the horse doping story contained a painkiller 100x the strength of morphine.  Now I know that he has NOT used any opiates, the result was a shock to him.  Is it possible that the Kambo could have made him come up hot? I really don't think the Iboga would.  If there is a chance of this people should be warned not to use it before a possible drug test, luckily it showed only small amounts and they like him so he is able to stay. I am concerned that I may have almost got him thrown out of his re-hab.

General Discussion / Re: Kambo before Iboga flood and/or after
« on: July 04, 2012, 04:37:02 PM »
Well I ended up waiting until about 9pm, about 8 hrs after I did the Kambo.   It was a lovely experience.  I did a small flood dose 2.5 at the most.  I felt like it made the trip easier... I was going until around 7 am, slept very well after and woke up feeling amazing.  My first Iboga flood, I kept having these repeating vision, over and over again with no change at all, this time...there would be some puzzle or something I had to solve, the visions would repeat, going backwards to show me every step, and then I would solve it.  I had no visions of myself, nothing to do with my life or situation, it all seemed a bit playful and ridiculous and I laughed a lot at some of the visions I saw.  My open eye visuals were different... I could see people in my room, but this is the first time I have done Iboga at night.   It sort of felt like the Kambo, purified me enough that Iboga just let me have some fun this time...  Highly recommend it!  And most importantly I do not feel weak afterward like I did the first couple of times... though that could just be because I am no longer a methadone addict.   I did feel like I was about to slip up and that this six month follow up was necessary.  WOW.

well, I got my first full on Kambo experience...  Is it normal that over 3hrs later my lips and face are still swollen??? Is it okay to go ahead and take my Iboga? should I wait a bit longer... I know you may not see this in time, but  :)

General Discussion / Kambo before Iboga flood and/or after
« on: June 27, 2012, 07:39:43 PM »
Would it be wise or not to give someone maybe a mild Kambo treatment before dosing them with Iboga for a heroin addiction?  This person has done neither before... Or maybe a few days later?  just a question, they probably won't be doing this, though it is an option.
I am hoping to do a six month follow up flood if I can take some time off work in the next few days, I am definitely going to do Kambo before hand,  I have been doing three dots, last time trying a different area of my leg.  Should I stick with 3 dots before Iboga or do the 5 dots that I was planning on the next time I did Kambo, turns out next time will hopefully be before my flood.  Would it help me recover quicker from the Iboga? Or would doing it afterward help me recover quicker?  I was hoping to have 5 days off from work, and I have very laborious work in unusually high temperatures, I now may only be able to have two days after the flood before i go back to work in the heat.  I am not sure if this is wise but if Kambo helps me recover more quickly I may still go for it.  I guess this is several questions or topics I would appreciate help with.  Thank You!

I have done Kambo a few times now, most recently last week,  I then felt a bit ill for a couple of days, then I felt wonderful....now I am getting sick again, I haven't been sick in awhile before this.  Is there a possibility that the Kambo is still pushing out some toxins and I am feeling that?  I now have a cough.  Should I do another larger dose? Thank you.

Journals / Ordeals / Sudden Endless Energy
« on: May 29, 2012, 10:08:24 PM »
So.... I have been off opiates for 5 months 3 days... I still had not felt back to normal until two days ago, and I am not sure when the last time I felt 'normal' was....17 years ago? Half my life ago.  I initially did Iboga, what a wonderful dream... I then decided to do Kambo,  the first time nothing....the second time after a consultation, it worked...I got scared and took it off... third time nothing, except I had a cold, or bad allergies... that was gone immediately.  last week I did Kambo again.  It was not the same experience that my friend was having, he was sick and purged a lot.  I did not purge, but kept the Kambo on for quite some time, I kept getting hot, starting to feel it, then it would go away...each time a bit more intense, this lasted almost an hour.  the next couple of days I felt strange like I was about to get sick, everything just tasted bland, no other symptoms... then yesterday morning (4 days after) I woke up with more energy than I have had in 17 years! and it has continued today, and I expect it to continue.  I know Kambo is responsible for my sudden energy Peak.  I did have an interesting experience the night before the day I started feeling this way... KIAP you might not like this... but I decided to smoke some DMT.  I have quite a bit, do not do it often, yet it calls occasionally.  This was the first bad experience I have had with DMT.  I just got these flashbacks of apocalyptic bad trips I had had in the past.. one 17 years ago from LSD another from 2CB and another from shrooms...they all had this same feeling... but I felt peace afterward this time   One strange thing that happened was that my eyes leaked a large pool of saline... left a freakin puddle in my bed, but it felt like a purge... the next day, I feel better the next...AMAZING.  I KNOW Kambo has much to do with this, but maybe it synergizes well with DMT also???  Anyways I feel better than I did when I was 16 years old, amazing... I am going full force with my next Kambo experience... I never purged unfortunately,  but I also have never purged on Iboga, never even came close and I guess I have flooded three times, though I thought the last two were boosters :/...

Congratulations on the forum Kiap.  I have several scars from attempting Kambo yet only one worked for me, I am here to learn more, I will be attempting it again soon.  My friend, who has had several Kambo sessions recently, has had his luck go from some of the worst I have seen to the best! Thank You !

Diet before and after / hydration is key for the full experience
« on: April 17, 2012, 01:03:57 AM »
You MUST be well hydrated.. I burnt myself unnecessarily 7 times, one big one...I was not hydrated at all.. in the three times I tried Kambo, only once was I hydrated enough ... it can be scary, but truly have had the best luck since!  Oh, and even though ut did not affect me so much the last time I did it, it wiped out this nasty chest cold I felt like I was getting..
