Application / Re: Kambo Snuff

Awesome post and good news, Hip!

I'm receiving Kambo any day now and am now thinking I'll jump into this method.

Does anybody have recommendations for maximum dosage? (I'll looking for a full and optimal experience, but of course to still keep it safe.) I'm thinking of starting with 15-20mg and working my way up. The thing is there's fear about going too high, and then when tolerance kicks in I'll be going even higher and I'm not sure if the safety of a dosage considers this tolerance, if that makes any sense.

Precautions / Re: Just ordered Kambo

I have a question that's relevant to this topic? Is there a maximum time frame - a window of opportunity - that dragon's blood must be applied for it to become effective? (E.g. after the 3 hour mark it won't benefit in the scar healing...)

I'm actually thinking of using the new "kambo dance" method, where you have your burns, apply kambo, after its over, reapply more kambo on the same burns, and then again a third time (and who know a 4th or 5th). If I did this I'd have to put on the Dblood at the very end, even though it'd be some hours after the burning itself - would it still be effective?

Plantbuddhist,
Does Giovanni use Dragon's Blood as well on the burns?  It's interesting to me that him and I seem to share many practices without even knowing about it before hand.  As much as we have a mutually beneficial relationship, we never talk about how our ceremonies are conducted or specific techniques, yet each time I hear about what he does from someone else it's as if we're in the same school.  To me this is a certain proof of Kambo being the head master teacher/doctor and as well Iboga being the lord head father/teacher.

He applied Dragon's Blood after my burns.

Hi all,

I am considering soon involving myself with kambo for a period of time to get myself back on track...

I've actually initiated with kambo already, and in total had 6 sessions (the largest at a given time was 26 dots and my last session was almost two months ago). I won't lie - the effects weren't night-and-day, panema-is-gone-or-anything - but I also have a feeling based on past experiences it may really help now.

Last 3 weeks I've been in a state of high anxiety and disorganization and things appear to be spinning out of control. This is compounded by poly drug abuse, right now the main/only substance being phenibut. Quick note - I know Iboga in indicated for this type of situation, but I'm considering kambo instead since A) I don't have the minimum 4 days of trip+integration and B) Iboga is best with opiate addiction and while helpful isn't necessarily to go-to medicine for gaba-focused-disruptive substances. I'm also in a position now that I'm trying to remain as functional as possible, which is slipping more and more by the day. Part of me feels it's best for me to drop everything and just take it really easy, but I'm also attached to not losing my job and other opportunities.

Any thoughts as to what the best medicines are for this situation? As far as kambo, any ideas as to the ideal protocol? (I'm not sure 3x method is sufficient... and the getting rid of substances in my system is really only the first layer.)

With kambo, I'm thinking of going pretty extreme by doing it daily for at least a week and seeing what that does. Even though I don't have too much of a problem with the skin-burning, I'd really prefer for daily use to use an alternative method, but unless someone can tell me exactly how, I feel at this particular juncture I don't have the time/energy/capacity to figure this out and will just go straight with the burns.

Any thoughts about my approach?
I'm also curious, if I do do it daily, if I should worry about tolerance and thus having to apply more dots than I'd appreciate? I remember I did kambo a couple weeks after doing several back-to-back high-dose kambo sessions, and the same amount of dots that I originally purged from had barely only threshold effects.

Lastly, since I'm planning on doing this ASAP, can anybody tell me a good source for the kambo/sticks/etc that also delivers quickly to California? I've actually never applied to to myself but I'm sure I can figure it out.

General Discussion / how important is setting?
« on: August 03, 2012, 11:21:14 PM »
how important is setting for kambo?

there is the obvious importance of having some amount of privacy and freedom to purge and express (scream or cry or laugh). but in terms of the degree to the setting shapes the experience and healing outcomes - the ways it makes a huge difference with entheogens, for instance - are these factors as important (nature, psychological comfort settings of environment)? (or does it work more like, say, a medicine that cures a flu or like a psychical surgery where having the medicine and the doctor right is what does the trick?)

Hey KP, really enjoying your enthusiasm. Anyway, I'm going to send you a PM later tonight or tomorrow at the latest. (Trying to keep information helpful to others here, like about about 3-in-3-days and meridians, and more personal stuff offline as to not be distracting for others)

thanks for the quick response, KP!

about 3 treatments in a short time, should they be spread out in a certain amount of time? (in other words would 3 treatments in 3 hours be as effective as 3 treatments in 2 days?)

Oh, and i live in N. Cali (bay area).

General Discussion / any kambo contraindications?
« on: August 01, 2012, 07:24:02 PM »
are there any substances (opiates, etc) that one should make sure to be totally clear from to keep kambo as a safe experience or even let it do its thing optimally? from my readings, based on it's mechanism of action, it seems like it doesn't interact with anything particularly negative (unlike most powerful healing agents), but i'd like to confirm this? thanks :)

Introductions / hopeful about kambo
« on: August 01, 2012, 07:21:26 PM »
hi all,

i'm very exciting about kambo, never having done it myself but having read about it in the eboka forum and elsewhere.

i'm interested in the medicine based on hope that it may jump start a process or itself may help in helping with anxiety, depression, and more. For those that have worked with it... is this hope a fantasy or does it capture a realistic promise?
