Application / Re: Concentrating kambo into a liquid
« on: December 04, 2013, 11:49:01 AM »
Never tried using saliva, but who knows, it might absorb the active ingredients from the globules better than water does, or it could help in the transfer into the body. I am sure this could be experimented with. Could try use other mediums. Maybe try mixing it with DMSO or change the pH value of the water. There are so many variables here, but if people that works with this on a regular basis, would try out different things, I am sure we could learn something from it.

Who knows how much of the active ingredients are absorbed into the body. If we could increase it by 2-5x times, it would mean fewer burn marks and not to mention fewer frogs needs to be captured.

Application / Application of kambo by using sandpaper.

Kambo can be applied on the skin without making a burn mark. You can use relatively fine sandpaper(P120/125µm grit size) to rub a bit on the skin, then apply the kambo on that. Don't rub until you start bleeding as that makes it less effective. Try to make the area relatively small, no more than 1 cm in diameter. I find that by making it too big, the area will swell up much more than compared to smaller areas.

Application / Concentrating kambo into a liquid
« on: December 03, 2013, 03:36:39 PM »
Hi.

A while back I experimented with concentrating kambo, so I could could apply it with fewer burn marks.
Kambo is extraordinarily resilient to heat, and it will not degrade even at 200 C / 392 F in the oven.

I put 10 dots in a shotglass with 7ml of water. I kept the oven at 200C for 30 minutes. By that time it had reduced to 0.5 ml. I sucked it all into a 1 ml syringe, and applied 1 drop, which is about 0.05ml, or the equivalent of 1 dot. It seemed to be as strong or stronger than 1 normal dot would be.

You could probably reduce it further, giving you a much more potent liquid, then just apply 1 burn mark. And you could keep it in the syringe, making it easy to reapply.

General Discussion / Re: Can Kambo be Reused?

But is it the white globules that contains the actives? Maybe there is something that is more water soluble that is absorbed. Perhaps it is possible to extract the actives in tincture or water and apply.

Also there is an irritant in it that causes swelling. Not sure how good that would be in the nose? Especially if it stays in there for a longer period. Tried a small dot in my mouth and the spot swelled up for hours.

Did you keep it on continuously for 36 hours?
I do not have fresh aloe vera, so taking using some 96% aloe vera gel. My mark is a week old, so not sure if that helps. But planning on doing an application this wednesday, so will be sure to apply it immediately after.

No problem KP. Working on a new method of administering it that does seem to be scarless, although I still need a bit more time to be sure.
Also, applied some aloe vera on a recent mark, hopefully it will heal even faster.

Hey Myco, the last time aloe vera was applied to my burns after 1 month there were no scars whatsoever, just pure skin
You saying it had completely vanished, with no traces that a burn happened a month ago? Wow, still got all my 30+ burns, 4-6 month old.
Got to try out some aloe vera. How often do you apply it?

I've seen those red lines you spoke of with the meridian treatments, those are not veins.  Mysterious.
Also seen them, not on my shoulder but when I had a dot on my wrist. It snaked itself sideways for an inch or so. A few days ago I noticed the same phenomenon on my wrist when a mosquito bit me, This same red line radiating out from the bite.

After burning these points, and being careful to do as KP recommended and take off all the skin (required multiple burnings on each site)
Several burnings on the same spot? Don't think that is necessary. Just remove the skin after 1 quick burn should be enough. Burn doesn't have to last for more than 2/10 of a second.

Then your method uses some mucose absorbtion: right ?
No, can do it anywhere on the skin. I'll have to make a post about it.

Dragon blood had no effects on me. Used it a couple times a day for a week or so. 3-4 months later I see no difference between them and the ones I did not use any dragon blood on. And yes, mine seems to be permanent. Can see white scarring starting to appear.

On a bright note. I am working on a new method of administration that does not appear to leave scars. But have to give it a little more time to be sure...
It is just as effective as the traditional way.

And please don't close the forum. There might not be that much posts, but who knows it may pick up speed. It is nice to have a place dedicated to this medicine.

General Discussion / Re: Tingling Iboga/Kambo
« on: May 09, 2012, 11:19:09 AM »
Are you referring to the tingling feeling you get in the hands and feet?
I also get that when going into the sauna. I suspect it has something to do with blood pressure, which kambo certainly increases.

I was swollen in the face for about five days.
How noticeable was the swelling? Would hate to look like a puffer fish when going to work  ;D

Size of a US Dime:17.91 mm (0.705 in)

Thats big!

I don't exactly know what others use, but I suspect it is much smaller than that.
Mine is about 0.4cm in diameter.

That is ~0.12 square cm.
Yours is like 2.5 square cm, that is 20 times larger.

It may be that you are applying a thin layer.
Btw, how much of a stick have you used and how many dimes?
Should usually be about 50 dots per stick.
