Title: Kambo and psychotic drugs
Post by: Mgpelaez on August 13, 2013, 11:06:34 PM
I'm taking epival a mood stabilizing drug for the past two months. Can I try kambo? If so what would be the side effects? Thank you,

From what I've been told by Giovanni Lattanzi, who has been working with Kambo intensively on people for over 9 years, there are no contraindications with medications.

I agree totally - I've treated several people with mild psychosis who are taking this medication and its been very successful. My only precaution would be in the case of Bipolar when I would be sure to not give Kambo during a high manic phase. So go ahead! Good luck  :)

Kampum: What you said there is way too simplistic. Just because Giovanni hasn't encountered an adverse interaction, doesn't mean there are none. I'm sure Giovanni has never administered to someone on that specific medication (epival). Caution needs to be exercised always (start with an allergy test, then a small dose etc.).
