Skin around dots start to swell..
« on: June 07, 2018, 08:51:53 PM »
(Non native Englisch speaker, sorry for mistakes)

Hello everyone,

Thank you for the abundance of information on this forum.

In the past i recieved kambo sessions and everytime afterwards the area around the burns became red. (6,7 and 8 dots)
Last time suddenly i had a different swelling reaction. (Pictures)
After one hour i looked like the second picture.
I asked this question on another spot and people say that this i quit normal.. Does more people recognize this kind of swelling and reaction on the skin?
After lots of research i've never encounterd pictures with this reaction.
To be honest i was a little scared in the beginning. Slowly i saw the spot getting bigger.. It looked almost like a side river of the Amazon.. Lol
The burningstick were made from the 'Bejuco Yaré' vine.

Does anybody know what is happening with the skin? Is it a situation that you can't control? Is there danger to this kind of reaction?

It was just strange that it was such a big difference like last times.

Now 10 hours later the swlling start to dissepear slowly again.

I would love to hear from you guys your oppinion. Do you have had a swelling like this before?

Thanks in advance

Just a histamine reaction. No big deal.

Could be caused by the kambo, a slight allergy to the "Bejuco" burning stick, or because of not being 100% sterile.
It is just a response to protect you from foreign contaminations.
