Table salt, sodium chloride inhibits all the enzymes in the body, by some definitions, this could be considered a poison. It also raises blood pressure and taxes the heart and kidneys. The body only finds a few micro-grains of salt useful to be absorbed and the rest must be eliminated by the kidneys.

Use a 50/50  or 75/25 mix if you're a heavy salt user, of pink Himalayan salt and baking soda (sodium bicarbonate).
