Healing Clogged Sinuses
Snuff Recipe

1 spoon Goldenseal powder (antibacterial)
1 spoon Bayberry bark powder (mild to moderate astringent. tightens sinuses, eases congestion)
tiny pinch of cayanne powder
pinch of garlic powder
mix well

insufflate a small pinch

I'd like to try making a large tea of this for use with the netti pot.

Really amazed with how well this works. I have been using an alternative method, just out of convenience of what materials I have.
 I have had a sinus head cold. My left nostril has been completely clogged, sneezing, and my head felt very stuffy.

I give a tobacco snuff nasal spray up each sinus, have a line already prepped of 3 tiny snuff spoons worth of tobacco powder as a base, and 2 of garlic powder, and 1 of cayenne; made into a fine line on a glass cutting board with a razor. After the spray I take a cut straw n sniff a tiny bit up each nostril, alternating sides until it starts to become uncomfortable. I do a hot neti pot rinse, sniff some more, and then do a cold neti pot rinse.

This twice a day has kept my head clear and me breathing at 100%. When normally I'd be totally clogged on the one side.

Bump!

Used to have chronic sinus infections, possibly due to having my nose broken at a young age. Painful and debilitating, about three times every year. Started doing rapé regularly and the problems dminished greatly. After I realised that I can rinse the black snot out of my nose using a neti (ceramic nose cleaner), the problems stopped altogether. I still get colds now and then and have added another component - I add a shot of colloidal silver to the salty water. This combination effectively takes care of all my nasal problems.
