General Discussion / Re: What is too much?
« on: August 20, 2017, 09:13:06 PM »
Hi Quick question.. If a person fainted on their first Kambo experience does that mean they will faint every time?
Appreciate any feed back?
CA
Not necessarily. It just means they have low blood pressure.
Not necessarily ! I fainted one time and my blood pressure was normal. Obviously if you know someone has low blood pressure then take the necessary precautions but in my case I think it was just the way the Kambo was working on me that day.

The first link worked just fine - thanks for doing that!

I can only offer my personal experience.

I did kambo on 2 consecutive days prior to my flood.

Day 1

Did a double session of kambo (had kambo applied to several burns, after purging had stopped, laid down to rest for 20 mins, then redid kambo on the same burns, purge, rest again)

Day 2 - same as above

Day 3 - started flood dose late afternoon

Were it not for concerns about the health of my heart, I think my provider would have given me kambo the morning of the flood.

I have had amazing results with sub flood doses of RB in conjunction with kambo. There is also a thread about microdosing iboga and doing kambo

thanks for posting this. It's  enjoyable to watch even if you don't understand french.

Nice to see them in their natural environment and turning from tadpoles into cute little green frogs! Makes me want to see them in real life even more now.

General Discussion / Re: What would kambo be effective for
« on: September 04, 2013, 11:31:00 AM »

though i was abit confused, you said not to do it again for a few months but the healing benefits are cumulative and shouldn't wait for one month. would you mind clarifying as have literally no experience with Kambo and have to be honest haven't done much research on it either.

I know I need to fast for 12 hours beforehand but is there any other things i should abstain in the days beforehand?
You misread what I wrote. I said if you do kambo then DON'T do it again for a few months it's like starting all over again and you miss out on the cumulative healing effects so you should really try to do it once a month for the first few months at least.

As for diet beforehand, just be sensible, don't go eating tons of processed foods and chugging down six packs of beer...! If you usually eat a lot of sugary food, this may be why you're getting headaches when you fast - I'd really recommend sticking with it - maybe gradually increasing the length of time between meals.

We were all newbies at some point - don't sweat it!

Hi Wanderingsouls

While I can’t speak to the effectiveness of kambo for your type of arthritis, I definitely recommend that you give it a try. Some people on this forum have reported some improvement with inflammatory based diseases with regular use of kambo. If you do kambo then don't do it again for a few months, its like doing it again for the first time - to really get the healing effects of kambo, you shouldn't wait more than a month after you first do it, there really is a cumulative effect. See how you feel after 3 months.

For myself, I have not had a single day of sickness since I first did kambo 10 months ago so it certainly has had an effect on my immune system and energy. I see that avendagold recommended fasting to reduce inflammation and my experience with the 5 : 2 diet would support that. If you can do some fasting before you do kambo, I think it will be a great way to prepare your body for kambo (in addition to the usual pre kambo fasting).

I hope you report back after your kambo session and let us know how it went for you.

Good luck to you!

The first time I purged there was like a pocket of bright red that came up followed by the normal yellow color. 10-15 drops of sangre de drago in some water cleared that up. Now I always do that the night before and the morning of a kambo session just to seal any small tears I might have.

3 treatments in 2 hours would be quite the initiation - wow!

I have done a gentler version of this (burns done with regular sized japanese incense sticks and normal sized globules). I've done 12 points, purged, rested for 15-20 mins, then repeated the process.

After the second round I was flat on my back for about 10 mins then it was like someone flipped a switch - the foggy whoozy feeling was replaced with amazing energy like I had been plugged into the wall and instantly recharged. I almost leapt up from the floor. Post kambo energy is like no other.

It amazes me what we continue to learn about this very special frog.

Kambo & Other Sacraments / Re: kambo with dmso
« on: August 04, 2013, 11:07:15 PM »

here is a better idea, memorize all of science, then memorize all of shamanism, then ask kambo what he/she thinks of the matter, he/she will give you the low down clear cut right to the dome piece without a chance for miscommunication/misunderstanding.

pw - for someone who claims to be SO busy doing SO many important things that you have failed to complete your own threads on this forum despite numerous assurances over the last several months that you will do so, I find it highly hypocritical of you that you manage to find the time to put someone down in your typical demeaning and elitist way.

You may think you're the greatest thing since sliced bread but I find you to be arrogant and severely lacking in basic social skills - don't be so full of yourself. If you can't be civil, then stay away - that at least, is something you've proved you are capable of.

Ho romarin

if you search for DMSO on the eboka forum http://eboka.info/index.php , you'll see that there was some discussion of using DMSO but this was BEFORE information came to light about the virus. Most of the discussion I believe centered on applying the DMSO/kambo combination to the skin without burns. This would would dangerous as Psilo pointed out. There is no way of knowing if this would be safe to do via burns and I certainly would not want to risk experimenting with it.

It is interesting to note that on the eboka site, no one came under attack for proposing this non traditional application. Applying kambo to the meridians and ears is also, technically, not a traditional way of applying kambo but meridian point burns are almost becoming the standard in the west. Granted this is more of an enhancement of the application but you get my point.

It never felt right to me to induce the purge like that, I always want it to happen naturally.

Now I'm curious why Giovanni thinks its so important to purge quickly by any means possible. Seems like adding kambo to an unused burn point or replacing a point or two with fresh kambo or misting the kambo with water would accelerate the onset of purging - it has worked on me.

Good (and important ) topic Xoch - thanks for bringing it up (no pun intended)

General Discussion / Re: Physical differences after doing kambo
« on: July 27, 2013, 12:48:28 PM »
yup - I've received comments like that as well. All along the lines of looking healthier. Sharpness is a great description of the kambo energy. It does seem to produce an energetic glow that others pick up on.

For me there is also the sense of being balanced and realigned. In much the same way that a chiropractic adjustment realigns your skeleton, kambo seems to do something similar internally.

Giovanni wants people to purge ASAP. On more than one occasion he has suggested that I stick my fingers down my throat to get the purging started even though each time, I knew instinctively that I was going to purge so just shook my head and waited. Its never taken me more than 3-4 mins but for him that's almost too long a time to wait.

Another tip is to have the person continue to drink lukewarm water after the kambo has been applied. Just a full mouthful at a time is usually sufficient to help things along.

What is Kambo aka Sapo? / Re: Kambô pronounced Com-Bo
« on: July 23, 2013, 11:51:31 AM »
Just wanted to be clear that I personally have been mispronouncing Kambô as Kam-Bo, it is in fact pronounced Com-Bo.
Well that makes you and 99.99999% of us.

How did you find out that it is pronounced Com-Bo?
